Shingwedzi, Kruger Park

Another day and we head further north to Shingwedzi. Just one more stop and we would be at the top of Kruger. Spent just one night here. A camp that was cut and raked to within an inch of it's life that we have totally forgotten about to be honest.

Three-banded Plover. Of all the places to nest....she chose the side of the road. So pleased someone has placed rocks around her.

Amethyst Starlings

Chacma Baboons

Black-backed Puffback

Brown-hooded Kingfisher

Cape Buffalo crossing

Lunch !

The crocs had a body stashed away in the river. We saw them rolling with it and occasionally a hoof could be seen.  About 10 crocs in a feeding frenzy !

Hoopoes

Kudu

 Kurricane Thrush

Little Bee-eater

Amur Falcon

The view from the cafe.  Bathing elephants, lots of them. Wonderful x

The long and lonely road

Roan Antelope

Shikra

Pearl-breasted Swallow

Cape Buffalo with yellow-billed Oxpecker

These are the waterholes that are all clearly signed and named.  In times of drought they will be life savers.
