There are well over 1000 cenotes in this part of the Yukatan peninsula. Some are underground. We visited the top one at Xen-Ha and the underground one was on our Chichen trip. Lots of people swam in it. We toured the grounds, birding ! The grounds looked ideal for turkey, but afraid we were not that lucky. The stalactites in the cenote were amazing !
