A lovely woodland walk
This is on one of our regular walks and every year the farmer has his sheep sheared and then the wool is simply left to rot in the fields. He usually leaves it in the hedge bottom but last year it was nicely wrapped in plastic so it will go nowhere. An absolute blot on the landscape and this farmer is a multi millionaire !!

Now this photo doesn't do justice to the 20 magpies that were in this tree, quite an usual sight to see so many
Kestrel in the sun
and then totally out the blue, a ringtail flew over ! Nowhere near the area we have watched them all winter. That was a brucey bonus that morning I can tell you.
