This has to be one of the best days cruising ever ! The Hubbard Glacier is so mindblowingly beautiful, simply stunning. The face is 7 miles wide, I can't believe that is 7 miles, just how far away were we ?! The glacier is 76 miles long and 600 feet tall (350 feet above the waterline and 250 below). We spent 5 hours cruising in this National Park with a commentary from the bridge by one of the rangers and our onboard naturalist telling us all about our surroundings. It was absolutely fantastic and how lucky were we with this beautifully clear weather !
