A few orchids

 

A few marsh orchids at Messingham, taken a few weeks ago. Afraid not a patch on the numbers we saw in the alpine meadows in Switzerland.

Our local wild flower meadows are looking absolutely fantastic at the moment, full of colour and joy. Our pictures show marsh orchids, herb bennett, twayblade, herb robert, midland hawthorn blossoms, early purple and common spotted orchids.
