More American Black Tern pics
The American Black Tern, still at Covenham Reservoir, 21st September. A few too many pics here I think but just couldn't decide. A stunning bird, the first for Lincs and perhaps the 4th record for Britain. A very windy day making photography very difficult. Also there today were 2 little stints.

American Black Tern
American Black Tern at Covenham Reservoir. A cracking little bird found by Graham Catley. Not easy to photograph as it was always distant and flew so quickly! It didn't come close in the afternoon, seeming to spend most of it's time feeding and then sitting in a nearby field.
