Black Winged Pratincole

This bird took the meaning of distant and elusive to a whole new level. Infact we spent 4 hours looking at an eye behind a dock leaf !  It certainly enjoyed it's lunch-time snooze where is sat down in the grass, almost underneath a lapwing and well tucked behind the now famous dock leaf ! It did eventually stand and immediately flew to the next cow field, equally as distant. This took Karen's UK tally to 369.
