A Ringtail on our walk

A nice walk this afternoon, lovely blue sky but bitterly cold. The highlight was a great white egret and a goosander until Simon spotted this ringtail !  A brilliant afternoon !

A few phone pics from this week

Reindeer Moss. Rudolph will be eating plenty of this next week !

Dottie, Lucy's puppy that is growing up fast. Karen has knitted many coats and jumpers for Dottie, this is her Christmas one ! She is absolutely beautiful xx

Beautiful reflections

A walk along the River Humber with the pollution from the power station at Paul. We could hear lots of ships horns sounding that went on for ages (the P & O ferry can just be seen on the left). Watching the news the following evening we realised that it was the last sailing of the P & O ferry that we had witnessed and the horn was it bidding it's final farewell to Hull.

Spooky !!

Ring-necked Parakeets, North Lincs

We have a pair of Ring-necked Parakeets not a mile from our house. They can be heard well before seeing. The local dog walkers love watching them and everyone on this walk is talking about them. Must go and see them again when the weather improves and take a camera. This was taken on Karen's phone and the bird was not close.
