A bird we thought we may not see again in the UK. We used to see them each year at a site in Goole but afraid a Tesco Distribution Centre and now the new Bombardier factory have put paid to them and we have failed for the last 2 years here. But, there are 2 at this other location that is being kept under wraps that we have been lucky to see. The light was dire as you can see. We could hear the purring before we got out the car, a magical sound. Didn't hang around long as not drawing attention to the birds, saw them, quick click and away. A fantastic evening.
