Our first visit to this reserve this year especially for turtle dove and we were not disappointed. Within a couple of minutes we both heard the unmistakable sound of turtle dove and we soon had this one located in a dead tree. Lovely birds that are vanishing before our eyes being shot out the skies on migration each year and now on the critically endangered list.
