A few weeks ago this field was under water after the constant heavy rains and we had totally written it off for any orchids this year....how wrong we were. After a few days sun and rising temperatures, the field had totally dried out and was covered in orchid spikes. We are so lucky to have this field so close to home and hope the farmer keeps it exactly as it is forever !
