A few recent bits

A beautiful woodland walk today, very few birds but the autumn colours were spectacular

One of our local birding walks, still and serene with beautiful reflections. Even better when you find yourself a snow bunting !

A distant stonechat enjoying the sun

Southern Marsh Orchids, Cleethorpes

A lovely walk at Cleethorpes to see the southern marsh orchids. They were, without a shadow of doubt, spectacular. Absolutely stunning. Swathes of them, 1000's of beautiful orchids. Meadow after meadow of orchid spikes. magical !

A walk back to the car through the Boating Lake gave us many barnacles with leg bling and a bar-headed goose !!
