White-rumped Sandpiper, Kilnsea Wetlands, Spurn

The first attempt with my new camcorder !

White-rumped Sandpiper, Kilnsea Wetlands, Spurn

Excellent views of the white-rumped sandpiper from the hide at Kilnsea Wetlands with a fantastic supporting cast of ringed plover, redshank, curlew sandpipers and dunlin. One of the best Monday afternoons ever and a good place to launch my new camcorder. Quite pleased with my results to say it's the first time I have used it and learning as I go along. Lets see how I get on !

This redshank never stopped catching sticklebacks all afternoon

And down it goes !

Lots of dunlin infront of the hide

Three wood-sandpipers fed close by.
What a fantastic afternoon with a good laugh and catchup up with the locals !
