A right old assortment to catch up

Our winter burning pile is growing, infact since this pic it has doubled in size along with a shed full of logs.....we will not be cold and our gas bill will be the usual zero !

Yellow Waxcap

Distant snow buntings on the beach at Huttoft. Flushed by a man flying a model airplane and two dozen dog walkers. The buntings stayed about 2 minutes before they were off.

Pixi getting cosy for the day. She will be 11 on Tuesday xx

Some beautiful moss on the forest floor

Liquid Amber looking stunning as the colours change

Kingfisher

Huttoft Beach before the onslaught of dog walkers arrived. Love it here, the peace and solitude x

Grey Heron

Grey Wagtail

New shelving for the greenhouse. The back is now shelved and the tender fuchsias are in for the winter !

A distant Great Spotted Woodpecker

The last of the dahlias from the garden. They have been stunning this year

Fieldfare and redwing. On one of our local walks the hedges are alive with these. They will be off once they have eaten all the berries

Buzzard

We bought some Aster plug plants last spring and had almost given up on them. Glad we didn't as the show this autumn has been spectacular. Let's get some cuttings done !
