Mopani, Kruger Park

Day 11 and we were heading further north to Mopani for one night. A lovely small camp that was slightly overgrown and full of birds. Honey Badger visited in the evening, on it's nightly round of huts and bins for food.

A Honey Badger visited in the evening, not bothered by us at all. He took the lid off the bin to check the contents and was on his way. Our first good views of Honey Badger on the trip.

Jacobin Cuckoo

We had excellent views of a leopard and cub on the way to Mopani. The further north we drove, the less traffic and people. There was just us on the road and out she strolled followed by her cub. Here she is waiting for her cub to cross. Then both soon disappeared into the scrub. What a start to the day!
