Often seen around the Lubyelubye Rocks area and we struck lucky as we drove down this road. The river was full of elephants and that was a spectacle in itself until we spotted this male lion, snoozing in the grass. Out for the count until he heard an alarm call. His ladies were on the hunt, chasing a young giraffe that ran for it's life straight across the road behind us with the lions on it's heel. The giraffe got away but the noise of the hunt woke him up, he had a quick look to see if lunch was arriving, then laid back down and went back to sleep.
