Kruger is all about driving, driving and looking, driving and watching. Lots of circular routes to be done around each camp with all the details of what you might see, waterholes etc laid out in detail in the Kruger map book. We already had a good lion tally going and we did see lions on most days but never tire of watching them. These three were snoozing on a distant sand bank near to Letaba, absolutely full of food, enjoying the early morning sun. But something behind them distracted them and they were soon up and on their way to investigate. They just walked into the back scrub and disappeared. There was just us two at this lion twitch !!
