Never tire of looking at lions and, to be honest, that is why everyone goes to Kruger. They did not disappoint on this trip as we had a tally of 41 with some absolutely stunning views. I am saving the best until last ! These 4 were sleeping on a riverbank late afternoon when a hippo disturbed them. They were invisible until they stood up. They didn't like the hippo, it was obviously a threat to them so they watched it, sometimes peeping around the rocks. Eventually they just stood up and walked away, disappearing into the long grass.
