A few more Kruger phone snaps

Stralitzia  Regina - this has to be one of the best flowers in the world. I have a few at home but afraid mine are plastic !!

All the roofs were like this inside - I layed awake at night wondering how many spiders were tucked away in there and what could drop on me !

Red-winged Starling begging for lunchtime scraps

Pied Kingfisher on one of the many bridges

Sightings board in Skukuza camp. 7 lion sightings that day

Lion on a cape buffalo, guarding it from thieving hyenas

A well visited waterhole - there are many and all are busy in the dry season. It's their only form of water

A marker to show the flood level in 2013. Visitors had to be rescued by helicopters from the rooftops when all the rivers burst

A distant hyena flomped in a muddy waterhole. There were masses of vultures also coming in to drink and bathe

Every bridge had elephants, just beautiful

I think this was Oliphants camp, Simon chilling and birding. What a lovely hut for a couple of nights x

Glad that there are electric fences at all the camps

Kruger as far as the eye can see

One of the bridges where you are allowed to leave you car - if it is safe !

Impala

Giraffe

Elephants coming for an afternoon drink
