The town at the base in Wengen, our base. This is taken from the cablecar as it approached the top of Mannlichen. For an extra 5 francs you could stand on the roof of the cablecar. Afraid we stayed inside ! The ride took about 10 mins and cost 30 francs each, one way. That was £30 ! but with our railcard it was half price. Worth every penny and was a trip we did a couple of times that week.

We walked on these paths everyday, gosh I wished we were still there. The banks and meadows were covered in thousands of plants and with the mountains to look at, it was heavenly x
Lots of the alpine farms were covered in cowbells, this one had a fantastic collection
Love it ! Woodstore built into the house. Bet it's a whole new ball game in winter !
