Hellebore just coming into flower
The hellebores will be the next spectacle in the meadows
View from our room ....it doesn't get much better that's for sure

Just look at the amount of flowers in the meadows and this spectacle was everywhere. A totally unspoilt, beautiful country.

Alpine Marmot under the ski lift workings. They were here all the time but were constantly running and skittish. This was a quick snap as a second later it beat a retreat down the mountain. We could hear then squeaking amongst the rocks on our mountain walks but seeing them was a near impossibility !
Stonecrop sp. Plants grew from every crack and crevasse on the mountains, not a bit of bare earth in sight. Wonderful !
