Buff-breasted Sandpiper, Blacktoft Sands

Busy all day so it was a late afternoon trip to Blacktoft to see the Buff-breasted Sandpiper. It didn't come close, favouring the very back mud and islands, but still reasonably good views. It was a battle with the sun which refused to go behind the clouds. A good, friendly crowd in the hide and always nice to catch up with Dawn and Simon x  An excellent couple of hours and after doing 17000 steps today, home to put our feet up !
