Never been to a proper wine farm before so wasn't too sure what to expect. Our car registration details were taken by a very smartly dressed guard and in we drove. Grapes as far as the eye could see in the distance but a huge restaurant / tasting room / shop / cafe etc greeted us.  There was a massive ornamental lake that held plenty of birds for us and a woodland and farmland walk that gave us even more. Lovely to see that they had given lots of land over to nature and it was a resounding success.  After quite a hot walk we called it a day and Karen couldn't resist the shop. A couple of bottles of red were purchased (around £4 each) and they were gorgeous, drank in our room with beans on toast ! Seemed rude not to make a purchase !

I have a tasting menu from here, I will post a pic of it later.

Good to see they had left the swallows nest over the door

A lovely walk round, and all free of charge, how good is this x
