Lucy - Respiratory Staff Nurse, our daughter, so proud !

This is Lucy, our beautiful daughter. Back in the thick of it all, head to toe in PPE, complete with a brand new respirator, nursing Covid patients 13 hours a day. Our hearts burst with pride and love for her.

These pics were posted on the Northern Lincolnshire & Goole Hospitals webpage along with a thank you from a former patient. It has been shared many times on social media so I thought it would be OK to share it with you.

Former patient, Pete, has thanked staff on Ward 22 at Scunthorpe Hospital who treated him for Coronavirus.

He said: "Thank you for all your care and support making me feel fantastic. I had Coronavirus and pheumonia when I came in and you put all your effort and experience into making me better again. From the nurses, to the doctors and other health workers, with all the antibiotics and oxygen you have made me breathe freely now. I'm now recuperating at home and would like to say many thanks again to all the team who worked 24 hours a day on me to make me better - I will never forget you all"

Love you to bits xxxx
