This years Operation Cobra Warrior is flying out of RAF Waddington, Lincolnshire, not too far from home. A 20 day multi-national drill with Israeli, German and Italian jets flying. The crowds were massive, all wanting to see the Israeli jets, the first time they have flown in British airspace. There are 50 aircraft but on Wednesday morning we saw 6 Israelis, 4 German and 4 Italians and an Awacs. It was all perfectly organised by the WAVE, opening and staffing the many car parks, marshalling the viewing area and giving advice and help - all with a smile. This was our first trip but we will definately go again next week. Looking forward to it already !
