Decided on an afternoon visit to Blacktoft Sands, inbetween the showers. It was blowing an absolute gale which the harriers seem to love. Plenty of birds flying, coming and going, and the wind seemed to push them towards the hide. A brilliant afternoon but spoiled by missing a male hen harrier by 10 mins.....bugger !
