This is our local church and this exhibition had been on for a couple of weeks now with Friday being the very last day. I was curious to see what a knitted bible looked like so managed to pop in last Friday, just before we headed to Carburton, leaving Simon at home watering the garden. A warm welcome with the order of scenes from the testaments and off I strolled. Oh my dear Lord, it was fantastic. The work that had gone into each one, the detail, it must have taken hours and each scene was named and described, most being well known. Tea and cake at the finish and a donation was made. Simon skipped this visit....he missed a treat !

The pews had been removed and the previous evening singers performed in our local church, St. Hugh's. Even the bunting was knitted !
Loved it......now let's go birding !
