More Marbled White Butterflies, Redhill, Lincs

 

This one had just emerged and was still wet, trying to open it's wings to dry them. What a magical moment to witness xx

The sun was going down and we didn't think this hare could see us as it just kept coming, oblivious to us until it heard a camera click and off it went like a rocket !

Marbled White Butterflies, Redhill, Lincs

A drive over yesterday morning before the temperature went off the scale ! Masses of marbled whites flying but not too many landing until we found nectaring plants that they were favouring. A stroll through the meadow opposite that was covered in various orchids but they desperately needed water. A fantastic day !

14 Spoonbills over Alkborough Flats

2 of the 4 peregrine chicks on Lincoln Cathedral, they fledged the next day

I know that you cannot see it but just underneath the water was a massive dog otter, wonderful to see and not seen one for quite a while

20+ hares in the field on our evening walk, busy chasing and boxing

These were absolutely delicious, haddock and chips from Johnson's of Gainsborough, sat on the riverbank, a perfect tea !
