Dunlin, swallows and yellow wagtails

The dunlin is still at Toft looking good in the morning sun

When we arrived we saw one single swallow. By the time we were leaving they were a good 20 whizzing around, having just arrived. 4 distant ones here on the wires. A good number of sand martins had arrived with them. So good to see these back !

Lots of yellow wagtails and there is plenty to eat, just look at the number of flies. Our walk round with that lot of flies was pretty grim today.
