Lots of yellow wagtails now at Toft......along with ten million flies !
Swallows arrived as we were there last week, we started the walk with just one and by the time we had got round the reservoir, there were dozens of them. So good to see them back, winter has been a long drawn out cold affair this year and we are pleased to see the back of it. Here are 4 distant swallows resting on the wires. There are plenty of flies to go at at Toft, they won't be hungry !
Spoonbills in the distant at Alkborough

Two roe deer in the last golden hour of the evening. Lots more dotted around the fields
