Red-necked Grebe, Burton Riggs NR, North Yorks

An easy drive over to Burton Riggs Nature Reserve, just this side of Scarborough. Never been before. A walk around the lake and we soon saw the crowd so easy to find the bird !  It spent a lot of time fishing (very successfully) in the willows, and then more time on the opposite side of the lake before it finally came reasonably close. A good crowd to pass the time with and a cracking bird for a Monday morning !
Chiffchaffs had arrived and they were singing literally everywhere, loads of them in full chiff chaff !
