WOW !! An hour in the hide at Far Ings while we dodged a heavy shower. We drank our much needed hot coffee and both lifted our bins up at the same time and uttered 'bittern'! Probably the best views we have ever had of this iconic bird. It sat on top of the reeds for ages, looking round before it had a shake and off it flew. One of those moments ! Simon clicked and clicked away while the downstairs hide continued their chatter 😀
