Our vegetable garden - looking good !

The weather is dire this year and everything seems to be well behind. Planted a bed of tomatoes out a while ago and they haven't made much progress. We have at least another 30 tomato plants to get out. Just need a bit of sun and warmth, not asking too much for June !
Pixi says hello x

Hands off - they're mine !

You really cannot beat home grown spuds and when they are harvested in the morning, boiled and served with butter for lunch. Can't beat it and a zero carbon footprint to boot.

Plenty of beds of spinach so we have spinach omelettes most mornings. Nothing beats walking round the garden and harvesting what you need for your next meal.....freshness on a whole new level.

We have peas !!

Peas and onions

We have had a onion and garlic harvest. Here they are drying ready ready to be put into storage. Still plenty more to harvest. Won't have to buy onions until next year ! Yes, we do grow that many and they are in a different league to shop bought.

Simon has made a new raised bed. Just ordered a bag of Charlotte potatoes to fill it. That's the Christmas potatoes sorted ! Delicious.
