Decided to head to my old town of Retford to see the waxwings that were feeding on Sorbus in a front garden. The birds seemed to take an age to appear but they eventually flew in and fed and then stayed around for most of the day sitting in the nearby trees. Good to catch up with Paul and Paula and before we knew it, we had spent the whole day there. Pity the sun wasn't very co-operative but it did shine for 10 minutes !
