Leucistic Starling, Misson, Notts

Called in again at Misson today to see the White-fronted Geese and they were even further away. Simon picked up a distant white bird among the starlings, a leucistic starling. The starlings kept flying up but as soon as the bird was located they had landed back down in the long grass. Anyway, in near freezing temperatures we didn't hang around and the starling can just be seen in the centre of the pic. Might be worth a check if we are in that area again.
