Although a bitterly cold wind, the sun was back so we decided on a few hours in a local bird hide. Not disappointed as within 10 minutes we had a bittern fly past followed by another. An excellent choice of venue !

And a cetti's warbler that had been singing it's heart out for hours decided to give us a 2 second show. Not a bad morning.
