Another fabulous find by John Harriman today. We had driven past this flock of plover yesterday on our way for a days fishing at Misterton.....wished we had stopped and had a scan through them now ! Very distant and the birds blended in with the ploughed field as you can see. We then went onto Blacktoft where we saw our first fieldfare of the winter and a ringtail harrier.....an excellent day !
