We went on the 'Hop on - Hop off' bus to Cayo Guillermo to look at the Flamingos. We were certainly not disappointed, they were numerous along with roseate spoonbills, white ibis, and literally 1000's of egrets and herons. There are lagoons on both sides of the road all the way from the causeway to the end at Playa Pillar. We spent a morning here until the midday sun made us beat a retreat. Well worth the 5 pesos for the bus fair, we sat upstairs on the open top bus. It nearly blows your skin off, windy is an understatement!
