Such a wonderful site to visit to see the Great Bustards. The area seemed endless, rolling plains that went on and on. We saw about 150 great bustards on each visit but they stayed so distant and were very easily spooked so photography wasn't easy. Felt privilidged to see the males 'foam bathing' displaying to the females. The old house picture above is the village at Villafafila where the lesser kestrels return to each year. We were too early to see them.
