A fantastic day at Donna Nook on Wednesday. Easterly winds blowing in so we hoped we were in for a few birds. We certainly weren't disappointed. About 10 pied flycatchers, 3 whinchats, 3 redstarts, 4 wheatears, whitethroats and as we were heading back to the car the surprise of the day was a common quail ! What a cracking day !
