Whooper Swans, Toft Newton Reservoir

 





We haven't been to Toft for ages so that was where we headed a few days ago. Lovely to see these 10 whooper swans on there, they had gone the next day.  


Masses of Meadow Pipits on the surrounding grassland


The resident Oystercatchers that sit on the same bit of wall every day !


Pied Wagtails and a single grey wagtail



and a few tufted ducks
