The fungi in our local forest has been absolutely fantastic this autumn. It is nearing it's end for the season but we have found a very large patch of earthstars that have gone over, but they will be stunning next year. An area to keep our eye on ! We have never seen so many amethyst deceivers as this year, the conditions must have been just right for them combined with a closed car park that definately deterred the pickers this year.
