A few bits and bobs

No new amethyst deceivers up in the forest yet, these from last week had well and truly gone over. It still seems so dry under the trees. Will keep checking every time we are in there as last years they were a spread of purple gorgeousness !  A few others up but nothing wow. A forest walk is on the cards to tomorrow. 

Pixi on a bit of crocheting. I can knit absolutely anything but afraid this is my only crochet stitch, but it uses up all my old wool and I am sure will be snugly on a cold winters night. Pixi likes it anyway !

Not many of you will see this, or even know it happens but these trains pass by regularly. Every container emblazoned with the words 'environment and future'. This is container after container full of  woodchips going to Drax power station. How can this be sustainable and how can it be right?? What a mess mankind has made of the world, so sad. Next time we are down on that walk I will do a video to show you the extent of wood that is being burnt so you can have your lights on.......and charge your car. I really don't understand the logic behind this practice and wonder how long it can continue.
