Just cast your eyes on these beauties from Johnson's of Gainsborough. Large haddock, chips and scraps, eaten on the banks of the River Trent. They were delicious. Just look at them......could eat these every day, my favourite meal of all time. But they have to be cooked right, the batter has to be crispy, the fish has to be flaky. A simple dish that some chippys get totally wrong. Johnsons get them spot on, perfect !
