Spent a fantastic morning looking at the graffiti on the derelict houses on Preston Road, Hull. The council donated the houses to Bankside Gallery whose artists sprayed 22 houses, although more have now been decorated. The houses will eventually be demolished. We can highly recommend a visit to see this outstanding work, such talent. There was a large crowd there today, lots of press photographers, a vicar speaking about poverty, a few artists spraying new houses and a large crowd of folk amazed at the fantastic artwork.
The first house was dedicated to Libby Squire.
The Bee House was one of our favourites this year. We think it must have been painted by the same person that did the Owl House last year (which was also our favourite last year!).
