Our local peregrines had two chicks this year. They haven't ventured far from the nest yet and they are both extremely vocal !
The adult bird brought food in, plucked it and ate it all there, not sharing at all ! Lots of blood left on the feet.
We called in to look at them again this Saturday, a week after our first visit. The chicks were very mobile, although not yet flying, they were certainly not far from it, masses of wing flapping and jumping from one gargoyle to another. Fabulous birds on such wonderful architecture and lots of interesting locals to chat to.
They will soon be airborne and off into the big wide world. We wish them well !
