A nice surprise on a Thursday morning. Pity it didn't come close and favoured the distant reedbed on the Reeds Hotel side. A massive twitch with 5 of us there (and one of those was from Yorkshire), but this is North Lincolnshire !

Red-backed Shrike, Spurn
Always enjoy a trip to Spurn but even better when there's good birds to be seen. A very distant red-backed shrike in the hedge behind Rose Cottage was our highlight for today, a fabulous day was had by all !
