A nice quiet walk at Alkborough, there was just us two on the whole site! A couple of whooper swans flew over and appeared to land at Blacktoft. A pair of stonechats were busy flitting and feeding, one wearing a shiny silver ring. It's really nice to see the site wet through, wet grassland is now what it says on the tin !
