Dambuster's Flyby at RAF Scampton

Today marks 70 years since 19 Lancaster Bombers took off from RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire, on a mission to destroy German dams with a revolutionary 'bouncing bomb'. We felt proud to stand with the many thousands of people who had turned out to watch this flyby. It was a truly wonderful evening, despite the weather.  The Lancaster Bomber flew three circuits of the airbase before coming into land along with 2 Tornados and 2 Spitfires.
