With the sky heavy with rain and blowing a gale, we thought we would head over to Blacktoft Sands, Yorks where there were 6 bird hides to shelter in if the heavens opened. The rain held off but the wind strengthened! We were hoping for a bittern but afraid that didn't happen but we did get very good views of quite a few marsh harriers. Hope you like the pics.
